The Class Leader Organization is comprised of Class Leaders who are to nurture, care, and provide spiritual support and guidance to the members of the church. Class Leaders are chosen, and the call is to serve. Class Leaders help the pastor serve, as they are the Under-Shepherd of the flock, which extends to fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ in preparing for God’s Kingdom.
Pastor's Aide Ministry is to aid the Pastor and family with current ministry needs. This ministry assists the Stewards in planning the activities and worship services for the Pastor's appreciation.
The purpose of the local lay organization is to get the membership of the local church involved in spiritual and political areas of the AME Church. The purpose is also to learn about the rules, regulations, and duties of the members, officers and the pastor of each local church.
The Bertha Dickerson Missionary Society is a community outreach organization. As women called to discipleship to grow in knowledge and experience of God through Jesus Christ, committed to supporting the mission of the church, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are challenged to help one another engage in ministry and action, and grow and respond in faith to God’s redemptive plan for the church, the society and the world.
Young People's Division (YPD)
The YPD is a youth training program under the Women's Missionary Society (WMS) that provides training in Evangelism (community projects), Christian Social Relations (workshops), and education programs designed to increase knowledge of the AME Church History and the Scriptures. Opportunities in leadership experience are also provided through the YPD.
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship, and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts and be an integral part of the worship. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences.
